Chart Prompts

1,337 ways to dress a line or bar chart, 669 light and 668 dark. Open any chart to see it full size and copy a prompt that gives your own chart the same look.

Every chart uses illustrative data. The prompts work with any coding agent and any charting library; they describe colors, type, spacing and marks precisely enough to reproduce each look.

Paste it with your chart's code. It restyles your data to match this chart.

Restyle my chart in the "Robot Utilization" style described below. Keep my data, chart type, title meaning and units; change only the presentation. Use the charting library this project already uses (plain SVG if there is none). If the library can't express a detail, draw it in a custom layer instead of dropping it. Measurements assume a 960 x 600 chart; scale them proportionally.

Mood: a weekly fleet review on a big screen. Bold, confident and sorted: deep navy, tall condensed numerals, four state colors that read at a glance.

Colors (use these exact values):
- Page: #111829 (deep navy). Axis rules #2C3650.
- States, stacked bottom to top: working #4CC38A, idle #5D6679, charging #4E8FE0, faulted #E0564A.
- Headline numbers and title #FFFFFF; category labels #D5DBE6; secondary text #8E98AE; footer #5C6780.

Typography (Google Fonts):
- Big Shoulders Text throughout. Eyebrow 700 at 14px uppercase with 3px letter-spacing. Title 800 at 38px white stating the finding. Subtitle 500 at 18px. Legend 700 at 14px uppercase with 1.5px letter-spacing. Utilization figures 800 at 22px white. Category labels 700 at 15px with 1px letter-spacing. Axis labels 500 at 15px. In-segment numbers 700 at 14px white.

Layout:
- 40px side margins. Eyebrow at y 50, title at y 94, subtitle at y 124, legend (14px squares, radius 2) at y 146.
- Plot about x 84 to 920, y 214 to 498. Utilization figures sit 12px above the top of each column; category labels 24px below the baseline. Footer: source left, a reading note right.

Axes and grid:
- No gridlines. Y labels at 0, 25, 50, 75, 100% with 6px #2C3650 ticks; a 1px #2C3650 baseline.

Marks:
- Bar chart: 100% stacked columns 52px wide, square corners, sorted by the working share descending. Segments separated by a 1.5px navy line. The working share, rounded, sits above each column in white. Faulted segments of 5% or more carry their percent inside in white.
- Line chart: one 2.5px line per state share over time in the same four colors (or a 100% stacked area with 1.5px navy seams), the latest working share printed in 22px white at the right end.

Avoid: gradients, rounded tops, gridlines, a boxed legend, and green directly next to red (keep idle and charging between them).

When you're done, render the chart and check that each column sums to exactly 100%, the sort order matches the printed figures, the title's two numbers match the first and last columns, and small faulted slivers stay visible.
