Chart Prompts

1,337 ways to dress a line or bar chart, 669 light and 668 dark. Open any chart to see it full size and copy a prompt that gives your own chart the same look.

Every chart uses illustrative data. The prompts work with any coding agent and any charting library; they describe colors, type, spacing and marks precisely enough to reproduce each look.

Prompt for your coding agent

Paste it with your chart's code. It restyles your data to match this chart.

Restyle my chart in the "Revenue per Install" style described below. Keep my data, chart type, title meaning and units; change only the presentation. Use the charting library this project already uses (plain SVG if there is none). If the library can't express a detail, draw it in a custom layer instead of dropping it. Measurements assume a 960 x 600 chart; scale them proportionally.

Mood: a dark monetization dashboard for a mobile game studio. Money-green, precise and quietly premium, with one gold signal for the extra revenue layer.

Colors (use these exact values):
- Background: #0B1512 (dark green-black), with a 3px #10B981 rule across the very top edge. KPI chips #122019 with a 1px #1A2B24 border.
- Primary segment: #10B981 (emerald). Secondary stacked segment: #6EE7B7 (pale jade). Floating total marker: #FBBF24 (gold).
- Text #E6F2EC; secondary #8BA69A; captions and axis labels #5A7568; gridlines #1A2B24; baseline and tier brackets #2B4238.

Typography (Google Fonts):
- Red Hat Display for the title (700, 27px, -0.3px letter-spacing, stating the finding), the subtitle (400, 15px), KPI values (700, 23px) and category labels (500, 13px; the leading category in ink, the rest #8BA69A).
- Inconsolata for the eyebrow (600, 12px uppercase, 1.6px letter-spacing, emerald), KPI captions (600, 11px uppercase, 1px letter-spacing), legend (12.5px), axis labels (12px), value labels (700, 13px) and the source.

Layout:
- 40px margins. Eyebrow at y 52, title at y 86, subtitle at y 112.
- A KPI strip of three 202 x 64 chips (10px radius, 12px apart) at y 134: caption top-left, big value bottom-left colored to match what it describes (ink, jade, gold), a short mono note right-aligned.
- The legend stacks vertically to the right of the KPI strip: 12px rounded squares for the segments and a 10px gold dot for the total.
- Plot from x 88 to 912, baseline at y 510; bracketed group labels ("TIER 1") under the category labels.

Axes and grid:
- Horizontal gridlines 1px #1A2B24 with "$1" labels right-aligned 16px left of the plot; the zero line #2B4238. No vertical axis line.
- Group brackets: a 1px #2B4238 bracket (5px end ticks) spanning each group, with a mono 11px label knocked out of its middle.

Marks:
- Bar chart: 50px stacked bars; the bottom segment emerald with a square base, the top segment jade with 5px top radius and a 1.5px background-colored gap between segments. Above each bar a dashed gold stem (1.5px, 2 2.5) rises to a gold dot (r 5, 1.5px background ring, plus a blurred 7px gold halo at 45%) at the all-in total including the extra layer, with the total value in Inconsolata 700 13px 13px above it.
- Line chart: a 2.5px emerald line for the primary measure and a 2px jade line for the secondary, with an emerald area fill at 12%, and gold dots marking the all-in totals on dashed gold stems above the line.

Avoid: red or blue accents, gradients inside bars, drop shadows on bars, and placing the gold dot inside a bar (it always floats above).

When you're done, render the chart and check that each stack and gold total adds up, the KPI numbers and headline ratio match the data, and value labels clear the KPI strip.
