Chart Prompts

1,337 ways to dress a line or bar chart, 669 light and 668 dark. Open any chart to see it full size and copy a prompt that gives your own chart the same look.

Every chart uses illustrative data. The prompts work with any coding agent and any charting library; they describe colors, type, spacing and marks precisely enough to reproduce each look.

Prompt for your coding agent

Paste it with your chart's code. It restyles your data to match this chart.

Restyle my chart in the "Fee Tiers" style described below. Keep my data, chart type, title meaning and units; change only the presentation. Use the charting library this project already uses (plain SVG if there is none). If the library can't express a detail, draw it in a custom layer instead of dropping it. Measurements assume a 960 x 600 chart; scale them proportionally.

Mood: a crisp live fee tracker. White, airy and precise, with a mint teal median line floating in a pale aqua range band and three tier chips that read like a live quote.

Colors (use these exact values):
- Page: #FFFFFF.
- Primary ink: #1E2A2E (charcoal). Secondary text: #61706F. Faint labels: #94A3A1.
- Median line and accents: #14A38B (mint teal). Range band: #BFEDE4 (pale aqua) at 75% opacity with 1px #8FDCCD edges.
- Chip borders #D6DFDE; the highlighted chip uses a 1.5px teal border on #EEFAF7. Dotted gridlines #C6D2D0; baseline #AFBDBB.

Typography (Google Fonts):
- Manrope: eyebrow 11px 700 uppercase with 1.8px letter-spacing in teal; title 25px 700 with -0.4px letter-spacing stating the finding; subtitle 13.5px 500 #61706F with measure, unit and window; chip names 10.5px 700 uppercase with 1.4px letter-spacing; legend 12.5px 600.
- Azeret Mono for every value: chip fees 21px 600 with an 11.5px unit suffix, wait times 11px, axis labels 11.5px, the "updated 12s ago" timestamp 12px.

Layout:
- 56px side margins. Eyebrow, title and subtitle at the top left; at the top right a small teal status dot (3.5px, with a soft 7px blurred halo) and "updated 12s ago" in mono.
- A row of three chips (200 x 62 px, radius 10, 16px gaps): SLOW, STANDARD, FAST. Each shows the name top-left, the wait time top-right ("~45 s") and the fee large below. The middle (standard) chip is highlighted. Chip values come from the latest period (slow 0.7x, standard 1x, fast 1.45x of the latest median, or your own tier values).
- Legend at the right end of the chip row: a 24px teal stroke "Median fee" and a 24 x 12 aqua swatch "Min to max".
- The plot below spans the full width, footer with "Source: illustrative data" left and a mono block number right.

Axes and grid:
- Faint dotted gridlines (1px, dasharray 1 4, round caps) at 4 even y values and vertical dotted lines every 6 hours; a solid 1px #AFBDBB baseline.
- Mono hour labels ("06:00") every 6 hours, with small uppercase day labels ("SUN 27 SEP", Manrope 10.5px 700) under the midnight ticks. Mono y labels right-aligned, no axis titles.

Marks:
- Line chart: the median as a 2.5px teal smooth (monotone) line with round joins, inside the aqua min-to-max band. Mark the peak with a white dot ringed 2.5px teal, a hairline charcoal leader up past the band and a charcoal tooltip chip (radius 6, 24px tall) reading "15:00 18.6" in white mono.
- Bar chart: teal columns (about 55% of the band, 3px top radius) with a pale aqua min-to-max range drawn as a 40%-wider translucent bar behind each column; highlight the peak column's value in the charcoal chip.

Avoid: dark backgrounds, heavy solid gridlines, more than one saturated color, red/green price colors, and shadows.

When you're done, render the chart and check that the median stays inside the band, the chip values are consistent with the latest data, the dotted grid stays faint, and all numbers use the mono font.
