Persistence of Organizational Effects in Real-World Agent Organizations

Determine whether the organizational effects observed in the Workerville sandbox persist in persistent multi-agent organizations and production environments, to establish the external validity of the effects beyond controlled task configurations.

Background

Workerville implements supervisor, peer, and memory conditions as controlled abstractions in a sandboxed workplace while holding the task objective and risk elements fixed. This design isolates the effects of the three organizational antecedents but does not reproduce the evolving relationships, institutional structures, or organizational histories of long-running deployments. The authors therefore leave unresolved whether the observed safety effects generalize to persistent multi-agent organizations and production settings.

References

Whether these effects persist in persistent multi-agent organizations and production environments requires further validation.
