Generalization of CDSE to broader domains and agent configurations

Determine whether Cognitive Differentiation in Skill Evolution (CDSE) generalizes beyond the six evaluated benchmarks, three agent models, and two execution harnesses to other application domains and agent configurations.

Background

The paper evaluates CDSE on six benchmarks, three agent models, and two execution harnesses. Although CDSE achieves the strongest reported performance in all 36 experimental settings, the evaluation does not establish whether the observed benefits extend to domains, models, or execution configurations outside this study. The authors explicitly defer this generalization to future work, making broader external validity an unresolved problem.

References

Our evaluation covers six benchmarks, three agent models, and two execution harnesses, leaving generalization to other domains and agent configurations to future work.
