Clarify how reviewer capability affects the benefit of information restriction

Determine how reviewer capability affects the performance benefit of restricting an LLM reviewer to the artifact without the original requirements.

Background

The experiment compares unrestricted and information-restricted cross-model review at three capability tiers. Information restriction produces positive point-estimate changes for the capable and lightweight reviewers but essentially no improvement for the top-tier reviewer; the results are untested and depend partly on whether failed sessions are excluded or scored as zero.

Because the observed pattern varies by reviewer tier and scoring treatment, the paper does not establish whether reviewer capability systematically moderates the effect of withholding requirements. Establishing this relationship would require additional controlled experiments with comparable session sets and appropriate statistical testing.

References

After the exclusions the top-tier reviewer shows no gain (+0.9 with failures scored as zero), and the size of the lightweight tier's gain depends on how failed sessions are handled, so the relationship between reviewer capability and the benefit of restriction is unclear.
