EasyABM: a lightweight and easy to use heterogeneous agent-based modelling tool written in Julia (2207.02107v1)

Abstract: Agent based modelling is a computational approach that aims to understand the behaviour of complex systems through simplified interactions of programmable objects in computer memory called agents. Agent based models (ABMs) are predominantly used in fields of biology, ecology, social sciences and economics where the systems of interest often consist of several interacting entities. In this work, we present a Julia package EasyABM.jl for simplifying the process of studying agent based models. EasyABM.jl provides an intuitive and easy to understand functional approach for building and analysing agent based models.
