Determine the power-supply requirements for quantum-computing applications before their deployment in data-center infrastructures.

Background

The paper considers quantum computing as an emerging computational paradigm that may eventually be integrated into data-center infrastructures. Although quantum computing promises high computational performance, its energy footprint and power-supply requirements are not yet established. The extremely low operating temperatures and stringent noise and electromagnetic conditions of current quantum computers create additional requirements that must be characterized before practical applications can be supported.
