Probabilistic structural assessment using MT-InSAR-derived displacement

Investigate the application of MT-InSAR-derived displacement within a probabilistic framework for structural assessment.

Background

The paper contrasts deterministic displacement thresholds with probabilistic approaches that represent MT-InSAR-derived displacements as random variables and evaluate exceedance probabilities through a limit-state function. Although probabilistic methods have been used in other structural-health-monitoring and geohazard applications, their use for structural assessment based on MT-InSAR-derived displacement is identified as insufficiently investigated.
