Evaluate empirically whether adapting ASP-generated GUI layouts with the WHo pointing model for users with motor impairments improves pointing performance or user experience.

Background

The paper demonstrates individualized layout optimization by varying the WHo model parameter for users with different pointing abilities. The optimizer produces a larger target and relaxes grid alignment for users modeled as having motor difficulties.

This demonstration is computational rather than empirical: it shows that the framework can generate different layouts, but it does not test whether those layouts improve real users’ performance or experience. The authors explicitly leave that validation unresolved.
