Disentangle admission and enrichment contributions

Determine the individual contributions of the Gated Memory admission gate and conditional enrichment stage to conversational-memory performance.

Background

The experiment evaluates Gated Memory as a complete formation layer against a baseline with identical retrieval, generation, and evaluation components. Because admission and enrichment are introduced together, the reported improvement does not identify how much of the gain comes from each stage separately. The paper explicitly leaves this attribution unresolved.

Finally, the enrichment stage introduces external knowledge calls for EXTERNAL-scoped facts, adding latency and potential staleness risk for time-sensitive information that needs to be addressed by only including stable facts for enrichment.
