Robustness of capacity-bound findings on synthetic topologies

Determine whether the capacity-bound findings of ContinuumBench hold under sparser synthetic network topologies, including Erdős–Rényi and Barabási–Albert graphs.

Background

The reported findings were obtained on hand-built tiered infrastructures and are explicitly conditional on the evaluated topologies. The proposed extension is to evaluate synthetic network families with potentially sparser connectivity, thereby determining whether the observed dominance of capacity over placement and re-planning persists beyond the current infrastructure designs.
