Dynamic temperature compensation for wavelength-stable entangled biphoton generation (2404.18686v1)
Abstract: A dynamic temperature compensation method is presented to stabilize the wavelength of the entangled biphoton source, which is generated via the spontaneous parametric down-conversion based on a MgO: PPLN waveguide. Utilizing the dispersive Fourier transformation technique combined with a digital proportional-integral-differential algorithm, the small amount of wavelength variation can be instantly identified and then compensated with active temperature correction. The long-term wavelength stability, assessed though Allan deviation, shows nearly a hundredfold enhancement, reaching 2.00*10-7 at the averaging time of 10000 s. It offers a simple, ready-to-use solution for precise wavelength control in quantum information processing.
