Synced Parallel Control Paths for Multi-Task System Operation

Published 30 Dec 2023 in eess.SY and cs.SY | (2401.00143v1)

Abstract: Numerous systems require the capability to switch their operational modes seamlessly without any disruptions. The "Synced Parallel Control Paths" method is an innovative control system architecture designed for seamless mode switching. It features multiple parallel control paths: the primary path for essential operational references, and the auxiliary paths that continuously align with the primary, ensuring synchronized operation. This reduces operational disruptions common in traditional systems during mode transitions. This approach enhances system stability, reliability, and adaptability, making it a significant advancement in control technology for a variety of dynamic systems.
