Superradiance as a Source of Collective Decoherence in Quantum Computers (1407.0411v1)
Abstract: We argue that superradiance (collective emission) due to radiative coupling of qubit states results in non-local noise, and thus introduces an error source that cannot be corrected using current models of fault-tolerant quantum computation.
