Validate stacking-fault-tetrahedron formation in rhodium

Determine whether the stacking-fault tetrahedra observed in molecular-dynamics simulations of irradiated rhodium are physically realistic.

Background

The simulations report stacking-fault tetrahedra in all FCC elements considered, including rhodium. However, the authors note that experimental characterization of radiation damage in elemental rhodium is scarce, leaving the realism of this simulated feature unresolved.

Resolving this issue would require comparison with additional experimental observations or more reliable atomistic calculations for irradiated rhodium.

References

Therefore, we are not sure whether our observation of SFTs in Rh is realistic or not.
