Establish generalizability across populations and acquisition settings

Determine whether the geometric advantages of A³PreCore generalize across clinical populations, scanners, acquisition protocols, and downstream lesion-segmentation tasks.

Background

The evaluation used a single-site cohort of older community-dwelling adults acquired with one scanner and specific T₁-weighted and FLAIR protocols. Registration failure rates and differences between A³PreCore and direct FLAIR extraction may vary with scanner characteristics, field of view, pathology, age, and acquisition parameters. The authors explicitly identify broader external validation as unresolved.
