Long-term viability and friction fatigue of iterative review

Determine the long-term viability of iterative review in daily classroom preparation and identify the threshold at which productive friction transitions into “friction fatigue.”

Background

The PedaCo framework incorporates iterative educator review of AI-generated educational video scripts as a form of principled resistance. The paper reports that educators valued this friction in the short-term evaluation, but does not establish whether repeated review remains sustainable during routine classroom preparation over longer periods.

The unresolved issue is therefore whether the benefits of structured review can be maintained in everyday educational practice and, if so, where continued review becomes burdensome enough to produce “friction fatigue.”
