Experimental test of the viable rotational democratic textures

Determine whether the viable textures V′_b = U_MDM R_13 and V′_c = U_MDM R_23 remain consistent with future experimental measurements and thereby pass the proposed test of predictability.

Background

The paper modifies the democratic neutrino mixing matrix by introducing a real perturbation parameter that preserves unitarity and then applies rotations in the (1,3) and (2,3) sectors. The resulting textures V′_b = U_MDM R_13 and V′_c = U_MDM R_23 reproduce the solar, reactor, and atmospheric mixing constraints within the reported NuFIT 6.1 and JUNO ranges for normal neutrino mass ordering.

The authors find that V′_c permits broader ranges for the atmospheric mixing angle, Dirac CP phase, and Jarlskog invariant than V′_b, and therefore describe it as more phenomenologically flexible. However, the compatibility and predictive validity of both textures remain to be tested against future experimental data; the paper does not resolve whether they will pass that test.
