Explain the discrepancy between fitted resonance #6 and ψ(4160)

Explain why the resonance at M₆=(4207.8±3.3) MeV with Γ₆=(41.7±5.4) MeV obtained from the e+e−→D D̄ fit differs substantially from the established ψ(4160) mass and width.

Background

The fit does not produce separate ψ(4160) and ψ(4230) resonances; instead, it yields resonance #6 at approximately 4208 MeV with a width of about 42 MeV. The paper observes that this state is consistent with a similarly located resonance found in an analysis of D_s+D_s- data, but differs markedly from the PDG values assigned to ψ(4160), namely M=(4191±5) MeV and Γ=(69±10) MeV. The source of this discrepancy is left unresolved in the discussion.

References

If we, referring to the ``$\dd$ not seen'' in PDG 2026, ignore the $\psi(4230)$, a problem remains why our #6 differs so much from the $\psi(4160)$'s $M=(4191\pm5)$~MeV and $\Gamma=(69\pm10)$~MeV .
