Identification of the additional pole with the X(2370)

Determine whether the additional pole at approximately 2424 - i 149 MeV generated by the eight-bare-state coupled-channel model can be identified with the X(2370).

Background

The paper compares a seven-bare-state model with an eight-bare-state extension in a coherent coupled-channel analysis of J/ψ → γ K_S0 K_S0 π0. Although the extended model generates an additional pole near 2.4 GeV, its width is substantially larger than the reference width associated with the X(2370), and the two models produce very similar mass distributions. Consequently, the pole's physical interpretation and its possible association with the X(2370) remain unresolved.

References

This pole is model-dependent, and its identification with the $X(2370)$ is not clear.
