Determine the position of the cc\bar c\bar s spin-2 state relative to the J/\psi D_s^* threshold

Determine whether the physical J^{P}=2^{+} cc\bar c\bar s tetraquark lies above or below the J/\psi D_s^{*} threshold, since the QCD Sum Rules mass determination alone does not resolve its position relative to that threshold.

Background

The QCD Sum Rules analysis obtains m_{cc\bar c\bar s,\,2+}=5.239\pm0.061\,GeV, while the J/\psi D_s{*} threshold is estimated at 5.2091\,GeV. The central value is approximately 31 MeV above threshold, but the quoted uncertainty overlaps the threshold. Consequently, the mass extraction by itself cannot establish whether the state is above threshold or below it, leaving its threshold placement unresolved within the analysis.

References

Consequently, the mass sum rule alone does not determine on which side of the threshold the physical state lies.
