Evaluate multi-xApp scalability under heavy RAN workloads

Evaluate the scalability and performance of runtime attestation when applied concurrently to multiple xApps under heavy RAN workloads.

Background

The paper demonstrates runtime xApp attestation using a lightweight hash-based prototype and reports millisecond-scale latency for individual attestation cycles. However, aggregate attestation cost increases with the number of applications, verification frequency, and per-attestation processing cost. Concurrent verification may create resource contention and indirectly affect Near-RT RIC processing, motivating staggered scheduling, application prioritization, and adaptive verification frequencies. The scalability and performance of these mechanisms in deployments involving multiple xApps and heavy RAN workloads are left unresolved.
