Determine whether the predicted singly bottomed bound states are resonances

Determine whether the predicted singly bottomed dibaryon bound-state candidates, including the and systems and their specified decay channels, are genuine resonances by calculating the scattering phase shifts in the relevant decay channels.

Background

The calculation identifies several bound-state candidates in singly bottomed dibaryon systems, including and . The authors note that these configurations may decay into lower channels, such as , , and for the former, and , , and for the latter.

The paper does not determine whether the predicted candidates correspond to experimentally identifiable resonances. It explicitly leaves this issue for future work through a scattering-phase-shift analysis of the decay channels.

References

In future work, we will investigate the scattering phase shifts of these decay channels to further determine whether these states are resonances.
