Determine the contribution of individual reconstruction components

Determine the separate contributions of multiple views, rank-constrained representation learning, marker-coordinate regression, and post hoc temporal smoothing to the reconstruction performance of the video-based human-movement framework.

Background

The reported results characterize a complete pipeline that combines multiple video views, rank-constrained latent representation learning, marker-coordinate regression, and temporal smoothing. Because these components were not evaluated independently or through ablation comparisons, the study does not establish which elements produce the observed reconstruction benefits. Component-level analysis is therefore an explicitly unresolved methodological problem.

References

The evaluated pipeline included multiple views, rank-constrained representation learning, marker-coordinate regression, and post hoc temporal smoothing; the contribution of each component remains unresolved.
