Web-search agents aligned with DeepWeaver

Design web-search agents that are better aligned with the DeepWeaver evidence-weaving module for web-based deep-research settings.

Background

DeepWeaver primarily improves evidence synthesis after evidence collection and, in the web-based experiments, reuses web pages and section titles collected by WebWeaver’s planner to isolate the contribution of evidence weaving. The paper therefore leaves unresolved the design of a web-search agent whose search and evidence-collection behavior is better matched to DeepWeaver’s downstream synthesis process.
