Bulk fixed-ray trajectory for general b1z divergences

Construct a common semiclassical bulk realization of the continuous fixed-ray escort trajectory for general ray slope c=z/b1neq1, so that the b1z information metric and divergence admit a well-defined bulk interpretation as averages of canonical energies or relative entropies.

Background

The fixed-ray representation expresses the b1z divergence as an average over relative entropies of escort states. The authors suggest that, in holographic theories, this could correspond to an average of bulk relative entropies or canonical energies associated with a family of bulk escort perturbations.

For the sandwiched slice, replica-based constructions are available for integer b1. However, the paper states that a common semiclassical realization of the full continuous fixed-ray trajectory is not known when cneq1. Establishing such a realization is necessary before the proposed holographic correspondence can be made into a well-defined bulk statement.

References

A common semiclassical bulk realization of the full continuous fixed-ray trajectory is however not presently known for general c\neq 1.
