Black objects in a five-dimensional swirling spacetime

Abstract: We construct a five-dimensional generalization of the swirling universe and embed in it the Myers-Perry black hole and the rotating black ring. We prove that both solutions are free of conical singularities, analyze their geometrical properties, compute their mass and angular momentum, and discuss their uniqueness.
