A class of nonperturbative nonlinear covariant gauges in Yang-Mills theories

Abstract: We report on the recent proposal of a class of nonlinear covariant gauges that can be formulated as an extremization procedure which admits a simple discretization well-suited to numerical minimization techniques. This class of gauges is continuously connected to the Landau gauge and, in the ultraviolet, where one can ignore Gribov ambiguities, it reduces to the Curci-Ferrari-Delbourgo-Jarvis gauges.
