Real-world V2X trace evaluation

Extend the evaluation of Sybil-TraceGuard beyond simulated data by evaluating its source-attacker traceability performance on real-world V2X traces.

Background

Sybil-TraceGuard is evaluated on the VeReMi-Extension dataset, which is generated through simulation and includes vehicle mobility, V2X communication, pseudonyms, and attack annotations. The framework is designed to associate fragmented Sybil pseudonyms with their physical source attackers under limited supervision, but its effectiveness on measurements collected from operational V2X systems remains unresolved. The authors explicitly identify evaluation on real-world V2X traces as future work.

References

Future work will extend the evaluation to real-world V2X traces and investigate adaptation to more complex Sybil behaviors under heterogeneous mobility and communication conditions.
