Simulation of standard queries with one additional Hadamard layer

Determine whether, for every oracle and Fourier depth k, every standard-query computation in FH_{k,\mathrm{std}} can be simulated with adaptive classical preprocessing followed by a phase-query computation in FH_{k+1}; equivalently, establish or refute the containment FH_{k,\mathrm{std}}^{O}\subseteq P^{O}\text{-}FH_{k+1}^{O}.

Background

The paper proves that standard-query access is strictly more powerful than phase-query access at the same Fourier depth, even when the phase model is given adaptive classical preprocessing. It does not settle whether allowing one further Hadamard layer closes this gap. The question concerns the precise additional interference cost of converting a written oracle answer into phase information.
