Existence of IR SCFT for SO(N) with two symmetric tensors and Nf vectors

Prove that the four-dimensional N=1 SO(N) gauge theory with two rank-2 traceless symmetric tensors S and Nf vector (fundamental) chiral multiplets Q (with superpotential W=0) flows to an interacting superconformal field theory in the infrared for all integers N and Nf satisfying 0 \le Nf \le N−10.

Background

This SO(N) Type II model yields a=c at leading order and exhibits sparse spectra. The authors find unitary central charges and no decoupled operators across the proposed window, motivating the conjecture of an interacting IR SCFT.

At the upper bound Nf=N−10, the theory has a non-trivial conformal manifold.

References

We therefore conjecture that this theory flows to an interacting SCFT for $0\leq N_f\leq N-10$.
