Existence of IR SCFT for SU(N) with one symmetric, two conjugate antisymmetric tensors and chiral matter

Prove that the four-dimensional N=1 SU(N) gauge theory with one rank-2 symmetric chiral multiplet S, two conjugate rank-2 antisymmetric multiplets \widetilde{A}, (Nf+8) anti-fundamentals \widetilde{Q}, and Nf fundamentals Q (with superpotential W=0) flows to an interacting superconformal field theory in the infrared for all integers N and Nf satisfying 0 \le Nf < N−2.

Background

This chiral SU(N) theory combines a symmetric tensor with conjugate antisymmetric tensors and unbalanced fundamentals. The authors’ analysis indicates good a-maximization behavior and unitary central charges across a range of Nf, motivating the conjecture of an interacting IR SCFT.

As a Type II theory, it exhibits a=c in the large-N limit and a sparse operator spectrum.

References

Hence, we conjecture that this theory flows to an interacting SCFT for $0\leq N_f<N-2$.
