Determine whether the strength–imbalance dynamical regimes of QAOA remain accessible under realistic control constraints and hardware noise.

Background

The paper shows that favorable dynamical regions can remain extended in strength–imbalance coordinates while their preimages in native QAOA angles contract as generator norms grow with system size. These results are obtained using unconstrained, exact, noiseless state-vector simulations.

It therefore remains unresolved whether the identified regimes can be reached and meaningfully exploited when finite control resolution, amplitude or duration restrictions, and hardware noise are included. This question bears directly on whether the dynamical framework has practical relevance for experimentally implemented QAOA.
