Assess the pairing and beyond-mean-field properties of GT2

Investigate the pairing correlations and beyond-mean-field properties of the GT2 Gogny interaction, which has so far been tested only for Hartree–Fock single-particle energies and their evolution along isotopic chains.

Background

The GT2 parametrization was constructed by adding an isospin-dependent finite-range tensor term to the D1 analytical form and refitting the interaction to selected nuclear-matter, finite-nucleus, and tensor-force constraints. The review notes that its published validation was limited to Hartree–Fock single-particle energies and their isotopic evolution. Consequently, its behavior in pairing calculations and in methods incorporating correlations beyond the mean field remains unassessed in the cited literature.

References

To our knowledge, there have been no subsequent studies to probe its pairing or beyond mean-field properties.
