Generalization beyond the SAM dataset

Assess whether Sonic-AMG generalizes to broader acoustic environments and a wider range of human reactions beyond those represented in the SAM dataset.

Background

The experimental evaluation is conducted on SAM, a dataset pairing spatial audio with human reactions across a limited set of sound scenarios and reaction styles. The authors explicitly leave unresolved whether the reported performance and streaming behavior extend to substantially broader acoustic environments and more diverse human responses.
