The paper establishes an equivalence between signed graph p-Laplacian eigenproblems and tensor eigenproblems when p is an even integer. For non-even p, the two problems are not directly equivalent, although the authors observe substantial structural similarities. They therefore ask for a broader systematic transfer of techniques and results in both directions: from tensor analysis to graph p-Laplacian theory and from graph p-Laplacian theory back to tensor analysis.
