Extension to non-BIBS-stable and non-square MIMO systems

Extend the low-complexity bidirectional-modification prescribed-performance control scheme for input-saturated high-order uncertain highly coupled MIMO nonlinear systems to non-BIBS-stable plants and non-square MIMO nonlinear systems.

Background

The paper develops a continuous, low-complexity prescribed-performance controller for high-order uncertain highly coupled MIMO nonlinear systems subject to input saturation. Its stability result relies on Assumption 1, which requires the saturated plant to be bounded-input bounded-state stable, and the formulation assumes square input and gain dimensions. The authors identify extending the approach beyond these structural and stability restrictions as future work.
