Corrections to generalized hydrodynamics from initial-state effects

Establish whether the only corrections to generalized hydrodynamics for the rational Calogero model arise from corrections to the initial local density approximation.

Background

The paper derives an exact free-streaming transport equation for the rational Calogero model and argues that the dynamical equation itself has no dispersive or collisional corrections. It therefore proposes that deviations from the standard generalized-hydrodynamic description may enter only through the specification of initial local-equilibrium states.

The proposed statement is presented explicitly as a conjecture and is indirectly tested using an exact classical Calogero solution whose large-system density profile is reproduced by the local density approximation.

Based on Eq. eq:CalogGHD, we conjecture that the only corrections to the generalized hydrodynamics of the rational Calogero model are such corrections to the initial local density approximation.
