Ascertain whether n=88 (reported in Srinivasan et al. 1996, JEB, Fig. 8C) or n=56 (reported in Srinivasan et al. 1997, JEB, Fig. 3B) is the correct sample size for the 22 cm wide tunnel search distribution experiment, given the discrepancy and the unavailability of the original raw data and sample-size details in subsequent reviews.

On the question of the discrepancy in the sample sizes reported for one particular experiment using the 22 cm wide tunnel [n=56 in Fig. 3B (1997), and n=88. Fig. 8C (1996)]: Srinivasan does not have the original data and is unable to check these numbers in the subsequent review articles, because they do not include the sample sizes.
