The stepwise construction algorithm involves truncating ψ\psi in time, choosing NN relative to the desired accuracy, and defining ψ~K\widetilde{\psi}_K explicitly so that the reconstruction error operator norm can be made arbitrarily small by increasing NN (Benavente et al., 2021).

3. Data-Driven Learning of Dual-Tree Wavelet Filters
