A note on purely infinite extensions

Abstract: We study a strong pure infiniteness property for extensions, and give a classification result for extensions which contains many (and possibly all) previous cases, under standard and mild assumptions. We also prove a Voiculescu-type theorem decomposition theorem for certain C*-subalgebras of a corona algebra, for which the inclusion map has this strong pure infiniteness property.
