Recent Advances on a Model for the Electromagnetic Dirac Field at Thermal Equilibrium

Abstract: We review recent progress on a model for the relativistic electron-positron field interacting with a classical electromagnetic field at positive temperature. The ultimate goal is to advance our comprehension of how thermal backgrounds affect polarisation mechanisms of this quantum system.
