The real-rootedness of the toric $g$-contribution polynomials

Abstract: Recently, Ehrenborg, Hetyei and Readdy expressed the toric $g$-polynomial of a simple polytope as a linear combination of a family of polynomials, called $g$-contribution polynomials, with coefficients given by the entries of its gamma-vector. They conjectured that these toric $g$-contribution polynomials are real-rooted. This paper proves this conjecture.
