Scarf complexes of connected and ideals

Published 5 Dec 2025 in math.AC and math.CO | (2512.05376v1)

Abstract: The tt-connected ideal of a graph GG is generated by all connected induced subgraphs of GG with tt vertices. When t=2t = 2, this coincides with the usual edge ideal of the graph. Following the work of Faridi et al., we give a classification of the graphs whose tt-connected ideals are minimally resolved by their Scarf complex. We also consider the tt-path ideal of a graph GG which is the ideal generated by all paths of length tt in GG. In this case, we are able to give a classification of the same type for paths of length t=4t = 4.
