Regularization of Gauss-Bonnet Gravity in Riemann-Cartan Geometry (2510.26858v1)

Abstract: We investigate the conformal regularization of Gauss-Bonnet gravity in four-dimensional Riemann-Cartan geometry, employing a consistent dimensional derivative scheme. Within this regularized framework, we derive the complete field equations and construct novel static spherically symmetric black hole solutions. Our central finding is that the regularized Gauss-Bonnet term acts as an intrinsic source for a long-range torsion field, providing a purely four-dimensional mechanism to sustain torsion as a hair on black holes, without reliance on extra dimensions.
