Density conditions for kk vertex-disjoint triangles in tripartite graphs

Published 7 Mar 2025 in math.CO | (2503.05218v1)

Abstract: Let n,kn,k be positive integers such that n≥kn\geq k and GG be a tripartite graph with parts A,B,CA,B,C such that ∣A∣=∣B∣=∣C∣=n|A|=|B|=|C|=n. Denote the edge densities of G[A,B]G[A,B], G[A,C]G[A,C] and G[B,C]G[B,C] by α\alpha, β\beta and γ\gamma, respectively. In this paper, we study edge density conditions for the existence of kk vertex-disjoint triangles in a tripartite graph. For n≥5k+2n\geq 5k+2 we give an optimal condition in terms of densities α,β,γ\alpha,\beta,\gamma for the existence of kk vertex-disjoint triangles in GG. We also give an optimal condition in terms of densities α,β,γ\alpha,\beta,\gamma for the existence of a triangle-factor in GG.
