Cavity-modified quantum electron transport in multi-terminal devices and interferometers
Published 9 Dec 2024 in cond-mat.mes-hall and quant-ph | (2412.06721v1)
Abstract: We theoretically investigate transport affected by cavity-mediated electron hopping in multi-terminal quantum Hall bars, quantum point contacts, and Aharonov-Bohm interferometers. Beyond determining conductances and resistances, we analyze spatially resolved current distributions and local density of states. Our study reveals how cavity-mediated inter-edge scattering impacts quantum magnetotransport in finite-size systems and how the cavity-mediated hopping significantly alters electron quantum interference effects.
