Barkhausen noise in disordered strip-like ferromagnets: experiment vs. simulations
Published 21 Sep 2023 in cond-mat.dis-nn | (2309.11873v1)
Abstract: In this paper, we compare the results obtained from the low-frequency Barkhausen noise recordings performed on a VITROPERM 800 metallic glass sample with the results from the numerical simulations of the Random Field Ising Model systems. We show that when the values of disorder and driving rates of the model systems are suitably chosen, a considerable matching with the experimental results is achieved indicating that the model can reproduce a majority of the Barkhausen noise features.
