Moduli spaces of BPS lumps with holomorphic impurities

Abstract: A self-dual generalization of the lump-impurity system is introduced. This model possesses lump-antilump-like pairs as static solutions of the pertinent Bogomolny equations. This allows for a moduli space approximation analysis of the BPS solutions which are identified as lump-antilump configurations. Some geometrical properties of the resulting moduli are analyzed. In addition, it is argued that, this type of impurity models can be interpreted as a limit of certain non-impurity theories.
